  Church planting is a life-giving work for those who have the call and capacity for it. “Discerning Missional Leadership” is designed to help discern the call and examine the leadership capacity of those interested in becoming church planters. The assessment encourages participation by spouses and potential team members who are called to help model and promote missional living.

  New worshiping community leader Tamara John knows what it’s like to lose everything. “I’ve been brought back from nothing,” she says, “to the other side of learning trust in Jesus.” The story of how she ended up starting a new worshiping community in an RV park in Huntington Beach, California is ultimately about the redeeming and healing power of Jesus Christ. “Without Jesus, I’d be white-knuckling it,” she says. “Trying to walk away from power that’s destructive to me.”
